Missy Robertson Opens Up After Her Daughter Mia’s Surgery

Mia has just undergone 14 cleft palate surgery in her 17th year, and her mother just shared some images of her daughter after the procedure. Missy Robertson expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported them through these difficult times.

She also revealed that her daughter still has a long road ahead, but she is making great progress. The Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson shared a post about his granddaughter Mia. All the family was gathered to rejoice in the miracle upon Mia and her journey.

Mia faced a big challenge when doctors had to break her jaws to adjust them. They couldn’t give her pain medication, because she had to remain alert in case she chokes.

After that, doctors created a model of her mouth and jaw that matched. Mia is expected to still suffer for 1 year more under the care of specialists.

Now the family is enjoying themselves together and staying at home while playing games together. We wish her a speedy recovery.
